Why?
Tesco is proposing a new store in Hadleigh which will provide families and local people with a decent priced basket of food shopping and the selection of goods which they currently have to leave town to buy.
By opening a store close to the High Street, designed specifically for Hadleigh and the site, shoppers who don't do their main food shop locally will be attracted to Hadleigh encouraging them to visit other shops.
At this difficult time, many people think 200 new jobs and investment in the town is even more important.
